CHENNAI: Nasdaq-listed IT Firm Cognizant, has acquired Zaffera, a SAP retail consulting and software development company based in Princeton, New Jersey for an undisclosed value. “We have acquired the company along with its 100 employees and SAP-focused toolsets.

Zaffera’s rich talent pool has an average of 12-plus years of experience in the SAP retail space, which is a key differentiator,” R Chandrasekaran, President and MD, Global Delivery, Cognizant, pointed out. Zaffera is a consulting and software development company specialising in SAP solutions, with expertise in retail, apparel, footwear and consumer products. Interestingly, like Zaffera, Cognizant also has a depth of retail expertise.
