Networking & communication device maker Finisar Corp. (FNSR: News ), Tuesday reported that its third quarter profit tripled over last year, on strong demand for its products. However, the company lost more than 32% in after-hours in the Nasdaq, as it provided disappointing outlook for the fourth quarter. Finisar’s weak forecast for the fourth quarter had a negative effect on other companies in the sector too.
