American Superconductor Corp. (AMSC: News ), Tuesday lost more than 45% in after-hours in the Nasdaq, as the company lowered its outlook for fiscal year 2010, citing delayed shipments as the primary cause.

Dollar Financial Corp. (DLLR: News ) lost more than 4% in after-hours in the Nasdaq, as it has commenced an underwritten public offering of 5 million shares of its common stock. The company also plans to grant to the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 750,000 shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any.
